Sandy Creek Woodworks

Sandy Creek Woodworks is situated 7.3 miles NE of Louisburg N.C., near N.C. Hwy 561 in the beautiful  northern piedmont region, surrounded by farms, woodlands, creeks, and hardwood bottomlands that abound with wildlife and flora.

Dennis has been woodworking for 30 years as a hobby and a profession. He worked at This End Up Furniture Co. for 12 years, and has worked in several other cabinet shops. He currently installs pre-made cabinets for residential and commercial applications. His passion is to design and build custom pieces of furniture and cabinetry using exotic and figured woods, and veneers

Dennis' other passion is searching for Indian artifacts and fossils. He has been searching for artifacts for 25 years and has a nice collection of artifacts from central N.C. He also will buy, sell, and trade.

 
Dennis initially began making cases to display his own artifacts at home and at relic shows. As word spread about the cases, friends and other members of the relic community began to consign their own cases and displays; thus the website began.
